The Lodge
Sheffield Park Lodge is a recently-renovated, gamekeeper’s lodge, formerly attached to the neighbouring Sheffield Park Estate, a National Trust Park and Gardens.
Sitting in 14 acres of grounds within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the edge of both the Ashdown Forest and the South Downs National Park, the lodge provides a perfect base from which to explore the Sussex countryside, as well as being within easy reach of the historic town of Lewes, the world famous Glyndebourne opera house, Charleston Farmhouse, and the picturesque villages of Fletching and Ditchling.
A creative and romantic atmosphere welcomes you into this self-catering accommodation for two people. A beautiful mix of period pieces, accentuated by wallpaper taken from an 18th century print, which includes the original fireplace, pitched roof and wooden flooring as well and wood burning stove - all combining to ensure the utmost comfort in the most peaceful of settings.
